The evening of fashion will have dinner, jewelry and local models taking the runway. The best thing, all proceeds will benefit Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.

Authorities in Arkansas have arrested a Little Rock man in connection with an incident in Sulphur Springs in June in which a person who identified himself as a police officer robbed several construction workers who were on the side of Interstate 30 having problems with their car.

In his routine report to the city council Tuesday evening, City Manager Marc Maxwell presented an update on the summer paving program as well as city projects that are currently under way and planned.

Maxwell said he visited with the contractor who would be doing the annual summer paving program.
