Sulphur Springs Police Department invites the community to join them and other city employeesSaturday, July 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jay Hodge Chevrolet, where they will be cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs, printing Kid ID cards and encouraging people to “give a pint of life” at the blood drive.

The city of Sulphur Springs and local churches are banning together tonight at 6:30 p.m. for a special evening of praise and worship on Celebration Plaza. The brain child of City Manager Mark Maxwell, the religious event was planned in response to recent violent attacks in communities around the nation.
