Two juvenile males and an 18-year old male were arrested in connection with an incident that occurred late last week involving both female and male juveniles. All three have been released from custody, according to Sulphur Springs police detective Lt. Rusty Stillwagoner who said the incident is being handled as sexual assault of a child by contact.

The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office’s Trustee Farm is taking another step forward with the donation of eight hogs to a home for orphans. Sheriff Lewis Tatum appeared before county commissioners Monday morning seeking county approval of the donation. The sheriff said he had been contacted by Southern Christian Home in Morrilton, Ark., about the purchase of some of the hogs being raised on the trustee farm.
