The rain clouds parted allowing just enough time for me to squeeze in some of my multi-tasking side work. Yes, I am a wife, mom, writer, and on many occasions photographer.
On Tuesday, a friend of mine and bride-to-be decided to make the 300 mile roundtrip to Sulphur Springs. Honoring me, the photographer, and the city of Sulphur Springs with the opportunity to serve as the lovely backdrop for her bridal portraits.

There’s something good here . . . Over the years, this community has supported the arts like few others. We have a theater group, a choral society, a symphony, a public schools strings program, along with award-winning fine arts classes at the high school. This week, the community theater has a play in production. Next week, they’ll be joined by the annual Children’s Concert. Then, later in the spring, the Northeast Texas Choral Society will present their annual program, which promises to “rock the house.” Book clubs meet monthly. Imagine all these opportunities to experience art – in Sulphur Springs. Way to go.
