Austin-based singer/songwriter Terri Hendrix will be playing at the Crossroads' new location ... 200 Market Street ... on Saturday, May 15 ... and she's bringing her friend and long-time musical collaborator and producer, Lloyd Maines.

Maines is one of Austin's most sought after studio musicians. He's also father to Natalie Maines (The Dixie Chicks).

The new location is Crossroads' temporary home. They have plans to move one door down to 204 Market Street in the future.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door and $20 for reserved. Doors open at 7 p.m. Music begins at 7:30 p.m.

Hendrix is a breath of fresh air ... she's always maintained a fierce independence, creating her own record label (Wilroy) rather than having to bend to a larger label's rules. She refuses to be pidgeon-holed or type cast as anything but what she is ... an original singer/songwriter with enormous talent!

Hendrix will be the subject of "A Songwriter's Sojourn" in an upcoming edition of your News-Telegram.
