My practically perfect spouse and I just got home from seeing the Northeast Texas Choral Society's "White Christmas." It was his first NECTS program, but it won't be his last. He thought the show was outstanding - and he was right.

From the opening number, "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," to the final medley from "White Christmas," the show felt warm, cozy and full of the Christmas Spirit.

The group's salute to the Armed Forces was moving. Mr. Practically Perfect was a linguist in the Air Force and when it was his time to be recognized, I think he stood a little straighter than usual.

Carol Allen and her singers are such treasures. They always come up with the cutest costumes. Next time you see an NETCS member, thank them for their hard work and for always delivering a great live performance.

There are a couple of surprises, so don't miss tomorrow's matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.
