k d lang raises the roof at the Meyerson

k d lang and her 5-piece band blew the roof off the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas tonight. The Canadian songbird tore it up and broke it down. I've never heard a girl singer do what she did ... and she was in complete and total control. For almost two hours she and the guys entertained a diverse and appreciative crowd.

Exciting time to be a Guy Clark fan

It's a great time to be a Guy Clark fan as he's just finished a very successful mini-tour of Texas and today comes the news he's working on a  biography and has two CDs coming out ... The hard part is going to be waiting for the August release of "Songs and Stories" and the November release of "This One's For Him," set to coincide with Clark's 70th birthday. No release date on the biography, but it's a safe bet to say it will be reviewed in an upcoming edition of your News-Telegram.
