Even with just a handful of games left in the season, the Texas Rangers still worry me. They have since the 70s.
The magic number is four, but that is four too many. They still have head-to-head games with the No. 2 team,
the Oakland A's. The west coast teams are all playing Texas tough, they don't want to see the Rangers do a dogpile and jump around on their diamond. I can understand that.
Texas looks like the favorite to be the AL West, but I refuse to accept it until it is 100 percent done.
I saw a T-shirt at Target that was already for sale proclaiming "Texas Rangers 2010 AL West Champions"
I got a cold chill. I tried not to look directly at the official MLB product. I sure did not buy it. Not yet.
When they win it I will celebrate long and hard. That's before they meet doom and the Yankees, again.
Until then, I am still a nervous Ranger fan, hoping for the rapid healing of Josh Hamilton's ribs.
